Students and Counsellors, Explore the Possibilities

Dr. Maya Misic has provided clinical supervision to many students, beginner counsellors  as well as to experienced counsellors and psychotherapists. She can guide you in the stress and trauma counselling and therapy training and help you learn how to deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, dissociation, emotional dysregulation, parental conflicts, couples and family issues, and most importantly, ethics in the counselling profession. Maya can teach you how to maintain your clinical records and how to resolve many legal and ethical dilemmas that our field often experiences. She is an experienced trauma clinician. Maya was managing counselling department in a non-profit agency, where she was supporting fellow counsellors and provided clinical supervision to students from Adler School of Psychology, SFU, UBC and other Master level counselling programs. Maya is registered as an EMDR consultant in training,  and she offers EMDR online group consultation to  counsellors interested in pursuing EMDR certified therapist designation.
